The forecast calls for fun! While Mother Nature hasn’t really cooperated with us much this winter, Mount Peter has had another great week! Our snowmakers have been making snow whenever possible to keep our skiers and riders happy. Snowmaking temperatures have returned and we will turn the guns on Friday night and keep them going.
We opened December 24th and currently have nine trails open and four lifts in operation with a machine groomed packed powder surface and a base depth of 12-60 inches. Our park is set and includes a few hits with more to come!
About an hour from New York City, our mountain has 100% snowmaking capability and we will make snow whenever the weather permits. You may not see snow in your yard but we have snow here at “The Friendly One” Mount Peter. So, take the day come and play!
